hi, i successfully ran and queried my web service locally. problem is, i sent username and password for authentication on the web service and i used a tool called http analyzer to see if the sent data shows the password in text. it does. how do you avoid this? does the web service have to be run under ssl so that received and sent data will be encrypted?
