Thanks that worked. I had just used the messagecontext in the generated
MessageRecieverInOut, but this did not work somehow. Doing it your way
in that same class had a successful result. Thanks again.

Something like the following should work, 

MessageContext inContext = MessageContext.getCurrentMessageContext(); 
OperationContext operationContext =
inMessageContext.getOperationContext(); 
MessageContext outMessageContext =
operationContext.getMessageContext(WSDLConstants.MESSAGE_LABEL_OUT_VALUE
); 
outMessageContext.setMessageID(...);
