An interesting opinion on this topic appears in this article by Yasser Shohoud...   http://www.learnxmlws.com/tutors/rpcmsg/rpcmsg.aspx He says... 1)  RPC offers no advantages over messaging, and 2)  messaging promotes interop. Ergo, we should all use messaging and forget about RPC. I dunno if he is correct, but it's an interesting opinion.  Read the article, and see if you agree. Cheers.
