I've never done this, but it seems that you should be able to write a request handler in the HTTP-specific transport chain that does this.

I've asked the same question.  I believe the only documentation that exists for WSDD is what you find in the user's guide and the schemas (DTD and XML Schema) you can get if you download the source.  Last I heard, the schemas are a bit out-of-date.
