Hi, I have setup Axis with Tomcat 4.0 on a Win2000 machine. Following the install guide I got the http://localhost:808/axis/index.html page to display.
But when I click on Administer Axis I get: A Servlet Exception Has Occurred Exception Report: javax.servlet.ServletException: Servlet execution threw an exception at org.apache.catalina.core.ApplicationFilterChain.internalDoFilter(Unknown Source)............ Root Cause: java.lang.LinkageError: loader constraints violated when linking org/xml/sax/ErrorHandler class at org.apache.axis.utils.XMLUtils.newDocument(Unknown Source) at org.apache.axis.utils.XMLUtils.newDocument(Unknown Source) at org.apache.axis.configuration.FileProvider.configureEngine(Unknown Source) at org.apache.axis.AxisEngine.init(Unknown Source)................ Also when I type C:\axis\samples\stock>java org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient -lhttp://localhost:8080/axis/servic es/AdminService deploy.wsdd Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/xml/parsers/ParserConfigurationException at org.apache.axis.configuration.FileProvider.configureEngine(Unknown Source) at org.apache.axis.AxisEngine.init(Unknown Source) at org.apache.axis.AxisEngine.<init>(Unknown Source) at org.apache.axis.client.AxisClient.<init>(Unknown Source) at org.apache.axis.client.Service.getAxisClient(Unknown Source) at org.apache.axis.client.Service.<init>(Unknown Source) at org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient.<init>(Unknown Source) at org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient.main(Unknown Source) Any clues what is going wrong?
