Web services newbie here trying to figure out which end is up. I beg your indulgence.
We have an existing product written in C++ which runs on Windows and Unix. We want to
enhance the product to allow client access to web services and are looking for a
suitable toolkit.
1: Is it accurate to call Axis a SOAP toolkit and compare it to MS-SOAP?
2: I gather that Axis is currently JAVA based. Any way I can use it from a C++
program in a relatively unklugey manner?
3: I think I saw somewhere that a C++ version of Axis is in development. Is that
right, and when might it be available?
Any guidance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
