Thanks for your reply, Naveen. MY axis is running within tomcat. I am able to access the services that I deployed with axis ( ?wsdl) and I can see the servlet through the doget method in the browser.

Hi,

Myclient starts Myservlet in tomcat 4.0.4. And Myservlet executes "java
org.apache.axis.client.AdminClient deploy.wsdd". An error occurs when executing
the axis deploying command. 

Tomcat gives error:Error from ServRequest.doPost(): connect
(code=10061)
java.net.SocketException: connect (code=10061).

Beacuse the servlet in the container could not find the jar file of the
axis? Does it use the classpath set for java or that for the server in
catalina.bat? Can somebody help???
