Well, the originally question was: > What is the preferred method of deploying a service permanently? I don't > want to have to run AdminClient every time my app server (tomcat) is > started.
and I believed you where having problems with your service not running after you had stopped Tomcat... A deployed service will be up and running automatically when you restart Tomcat. If you use Ant you may "install" your service, which will make your service unavailable the next time you start Tomcat. If you deploy your service though, it will be "permanently installed" (until you "undeploy" it)... /stefan -----Ursprungligt meddelande----- Frn: Alex Dovlecel [mailto:dovle@;kbs.twi.tudelft.nl] Skickat: den 14 november 2002 14:01 Till: [EMAIL PROTECTED] mne: Re: SV: How to deploy permanently? WHAT?!?! You are saying that if I stop my tomcat (or other app server), the deployed services will be lost?!?!?! Are you shure?
