using the getChildElements(Name) mechanism

hi everybody,   is there any reason for not obtaining any element (empty Iterator) when i use the mySOAPElement.getChildElements(mySOAPEnvelope.createName("myName")) mechanism for processing a reply SOAPMessage ?, i was able to do so using the SAAJ/JAXM 1.1 implementation by Sun, but AXIS 1.0 does not seem to recognize this syntax   thanks in advance
