MS Proxy Server authentication

hi everybody,   does AXIS support NTLM authentication for using MS Proxy Server with this authentication scheme ?, if not, is it possible to "complement" AXIS with some kind of third-party solution for this authentication scheme (http://www.luigidragone.com/networking/ntlm.html, http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/httpclient/index.html) ?   thanks a lot in advance
