Try copying the java file to jws. This is off the top of my head, but I thought I read that.

I receive a {http://xml.apache.org/axis/}Server.compileError faultCode with the following configuration and couldnt find a solution in this newsgroup or on the web: - Resin 2.0 - Axis 1.0 - JSDK 1.3.1 - Windows 2000 These few lines are the base for all the trouble, while all other similar lines produce the same problems. --- public class Bes { public int test() { return 3; } } --- I copy the Bes.class to Axis/Bes.jws. Calling http://localhost:8080/axis/Bes.jws?wsdl produces the following error messages: --- Fault - Error while compiling: C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\cpb\Desktop\resin-2.1.6\webapps\axis\WEB-INF\jwsClasses\Be s.java AxisFault faultCode: {http://xml.apache.org/axis/}Server.compileError faultString: Error while compiling: C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\cpb\Desktop\resin-2.1.6\webapps\axis\WEB-INF\jwsClasses\Be s.java faultActor: null faultDetail: Errors: Error compiling C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\cpb\Desktop\resin-2.1.6\webapps\axis\WEB-INF\jwsClasses\Be s.java: Line 1, column 0: Class or interface declaration expected.
