OK, so I can't possible be the first to ask this,
but anyways, the reading list and "User's Guide" is not really what I'm looking
for :-)
I'm looking for ONE book/tutorial on getting
running with axis. Sort of like the sun tutorial, except its not about axis and
almost not about webservices. I'm not looking for a lot of different sources of
information, but one, if one such exists :-) A source that's up to date. Not a
PowerPoint.
How do You develop a service? I would expect You
would start out with a java interface? Generate a lot of files using a ant
script? Implementing classes that would expand on the created files? Run ant to
compile and deploy the service on tomcat?
Could I see this ant script then?
Why do all ant scripts in the sample dir start from
a wsdl file? Do people really start by writing a wsdl file and not the java
interface file?
Ok, any comments are welcome - and review of a
up-to-date book or tutorial of cause :-)
