I'd suggest that you use a SOAP implementation with a smaller footprint, such as kSOAP or Wingfoot or GLUE.
GLUE has a nice advantage of support JDK 1.1.8.

Subject: How to access .NET Web Service from Java Applet?

Hi,

I am a new user to axis.I used axis to generate Java client to access the .NET Web Service.
It works fine.

But I want to access the .NET Web Service using Applet coming from the same server.
I have problems in accessing the Web Service from Applet.
How can I do this using axis and what are the classes that are needed to zipped with this applet to the client side.

Please help me in detail if anybody know.

Regards,

Risath.
