Did you restart the tomcat server?I'm trying to deploy axis under Tomcat, and I don't seem to be getting anywhere. I have Tomcat up and running fine. But copying the axis folder into %catalina_home%\webapps seems to have no effect. when I type in http: //localhost:8080 //axis (or http: //localhost:8080 //axis/* for that matter), I get a 404 error: "The requested resource (/axis) is not available."
Help! I've done this before, no problem. but this time around, Tomcat just
doesn't seem to recognize it. Am I forgetting a step? Any ideas?
Also, try http://localhost:8080/axis
