I am using jdk 1.4.2 and my JVM is also 1.4.2. According to the instructions, if I am using jdk 1.4x I should copy the jar files from AXIS_HOME to TOMCAT_HOME/common/lib (??) Tomcat is working and I am able to access the index.html file in the axis directory (http://localhost:8080/axis) But when I click on the link (validate axis) I am getting exceptions as I mentioned in my original email. (I copied the axis directory to webapps directory of tomcat !)
