I suggest you use a context-param in your web.xml file. You can then access
it like this:
MessageContext context = MessageContext.getCurrentContext();
HttpServlet req = (HttpServlet)
context.getProperty(HTTPConstants.MC_HTTP_SERVLET);
String enpointURL = req.getServletContext().getInitParameter("endpointURL");
