Hi, I followed the installation instruction for Axis. At step 4 happyaxis.jsp reports "The core axis libraries are present. 1 optional axis library is missing". The missing one is "xmlsec.jar". I copied the files jaxrpc.jar and saaj.jar to CATALINA_HOME/common/lib, too (mentioned on happyaxis.jsp). But when I call http://localhost:8080/axis/services/Version?method=getVersion to verify my installation i get the error message "The AXIS engine could not find a target service to invoke! targetService is null". This error message comes everytime, even for the sample Calculator.jws. I followed exactly the instructions and dont know what's wrong. I use JDK 1.4.1-02 with Tomcat 4.1.27 on Windows 2k. I dont use "special" things like Security Manager. I just wanted to get them fly.
