<newbie-warning!> I'm just getting my feet wet with Axis and web services. I've written a simple little 'Hello World' type of service that I've deployed through Axis on a Tomcat 5.0.18 server. Everything seems to deploy OK. When I try to access this service from a dotNet client, I get the following:
Client found response content type of 'text/html;charset=ISO-8859-1', but expected 'text/xml'. I found a couple of postings in the Axis-user archives about this, and it seems that the solution was to upgrade Tomcat to 5.0.19. It seems the problem has to do with the addition of the ;charset= on the content type. Has anyone figured out how to get Tomcat to NOT add this? </newbie-warning!> Thanks!
