Custom SSLSockectFactory?

I am trying to determine if I can use a custom SSLSocketFactory with  
the classes generated by wsdl2java.  The primary issue is that I need  
to be able to use a default truststore (hence the need for a custom  
factory).  I went through the code that wsdl2java generates, but it  
looks like the actually http connections is handled internally.  Has  
anyone tried this before?
