Hi. I was using Axis 1.1 - I tried out Axis 1.2 RC2, but had the same problem.
Tmp is ok - I delete attachments as I get them in. The strange things about this: 1) when I ran the soap server on another machine, I had no problems on the client 2) other attachment based calls work fine - this one has a raw image (binary) attached to it and any access to the message (even message.writeTo(OutputStream)) takes a long time - usually about 20 seconds! Hopefully someone has seen this type of thing happen before.
