RPC/Literal and support in Axis 1.1

Hi All,    I am a bit confused about RPC/Literal combination and support in Axis 1.1. I have heard a lot of discussion about document/literal and RPC/encoded style but not much about RPC/literal in Axis context.   Also, it would be nice to know whether  it really affects performance in Axis 1.1.   I will appreciate any pointers or feedback on the same.   Sunil
