Hi all,

I see the FAQ and INFO emails do not return anything.

I am new to Axis, long time java developer. I was
hoping someone could help me primarily with a few
things. First, I need to get a very quick simple
client going, basically sending a simple web service
with a few lines of data to the server, and getting
some data back. Is there any preferred tutorials on
this?

Second, is Axis the best "free" product to use for
java web services? Is there anything else that may be
more suited for a java service or desktop application
sending web services to a server and getting data
back?

Third, I am using Spring on the server side, is there
any conflict with this with Axis? Can I somehow tie
all requests to my Spring servlet and make use of the
Axis API to parse it? Or do I have to deploy the Axis
servlet to handle web service calls?

Lastly, is the same axis.jar I use on the server the
one I use on the client to use the API to send and
receive with? Or is there a smaller non-server side
based library?

Thank you.
