Howdy folks,

Just two things left to do before the ASF Board can decide whether or not AxKit will become a Apache TLP (Top-level Project). They are:

1) Gather volunteers for the proposed Project Management Committee (PMC). and vote on a PMC Chair from among those volunteers.

2) Draw up the official resolution for the ASF Board's review (99% of this can probably be extracted from the proposed Mission Statement we agreed to here previously [1] ).

Note that being on a PMC consists largely of administrative work like preparing the required quarterly progress report for the ASF Board and voting on new project committers. Its not at all sexy and should be seen as an opportunity to serve rather than a means to be recognized.

I hereby volunteer myself.

Who else?

Cheers,
-kip
