AxKit and SOAP?

I noted a recent article about "Using SOAP with Tomcat"
(http://www.onjava.com/pub/a/onjava/2002/02/27/tomcat.html) and wondered if
anyone has attempted setting up AxKit as a SOAP server (maybe using
SOAP::Lite?)?
