We're beta testing a new version of the Stronghold web server that is
going to be fully open source. The beta has a fully integrated copy of
AxKit inside, which is why we'd like to get some folks on this list to
give it a try and send us your feedback.

Stronghold is designed to give you everything you need to run a secure web
server. So you can install the Stronghold package on a virgin machine and
it will set up a complete environment - so if you want to see what AxKit
looks like or to demonstrate it you can have it up and running from
scratch in 10 minutes.

If you choose the cross-platform version (instead of the Red Hat Linux
version), everything that is needed to run the server and AxKit, even
Perl, comes in a self-contained environment. In fact you don't even need
to be root to install it as it can relocate itself on installation.

Please send all feedback, bug reports, and installation / configuration
issues to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

[Important: This version is for evaluation purposes and testing. It should
not be run on a production server. It is recommended that you read the
first few chapters of the Installation and Administration Guide found via
links on the beta download web site.]

Cheers, Mark
