Hello there
I'm doing exactly what's in subject: transforming a XML document in
LaTeX. Someone here in the list warmly encouraged me not taking care to
convert utf8 character sequences in their correspondent "escape
sequence" \something, but using the utf8 package instead, which would
have done the job for me.
And that's what I did. I put the \usepackage{utf8} on top of the file,
let the utf8 sequences alone and compiled the tex file: no accented
character was there :-(and italian has a lot of them in)-:
Where did I go wrong? Anyway, I confess I didn't read the utf8 package's
doc yet.
