XSP exists in Cocoon as well (using Java as programming language), so XSP is
not just a single-vendor standard like ASP or JSP. XSP is theoretically
language-neutral, though no one bothered to add support for anything else
than Perl (in AxKit) or Java (in Cocoon). Taglibs (logicsheets) common to
AxKit and Cocoon are mutually compatible, as well (Util, ESQL, Session).
It may be some more learning, but knowing a bit of perl can be of great
benefit when using AxKit.
