03/07/00 LB Spoken to Mr Tudor and they still don't
================================================^

Can someone please tell me why XPathScript errors on the n' in don't.
I'm assuming it's because it doesn't like the accent character, but I
thought only < and & were reserved in XML.

Also, can anyone offer me an explanation as to why I can see a backtick
` (middle to top left on my display)an accent ' (small vertical bar on
my display) and another accent ' (middle to top right on my display)
which I can't type directly from the keyboard. As far as I understood
there are only two characters, accent and backtick, so why the 3
characters OR why two different ways of displaying the accent. Or is it
that the two characters are single quote and accent and they are
different? I can only see accent and backtick in the ASCII set, and I'm
guessing this has been the same since then (nothing to do with UTF-8
etc.)

Thanks
Nigel
