I tried the new XSP::Session as soon as it was announced on this list but
generally didn't know what options to use to configure it and set it up. I am
thinking about investing more time in this though. I only spent two nights on
it the first time and I hadn't intended for it to be the focus of my activities
at that time. I think I had trouble because I was using apache basic
authentication and really didn't know what I was doing plus I haven't got a
full grasp on how the underlying Apache::Session stuff works. I find web
applications really hard to debug because the browser can contribute or it
could be the webserver etc...

The XSP::Session i am using is a bit flakey - it sometimes appears that stuff I
write to it goes missing (and yes i applied the patch sent on this list a
little while ago)
