When I use
<xsp:page>
<xsp:structure>
</xsp:structure>
<roottag>
</roottag>
</xsp:page>
I get
"$document" requires explicit ...')
Which I believe relates to the root element
When I use
<xsp:page>
<roottag>
<xsp:structure>
<!--blah-->
</xsp:structure>
<!--blah-->
</roottag>
</xsp:page>
It works but still does the same thing as before.
TIA
Nigel

You are using a very unorthodox structure of your XSP. To be on the
safe side,
try to use this layout:
<?xml ...?>
<xsp:page ...>
<xsp:structure>
<!-- anything global, like sub definitions. stuff in here will
only
be executed when the page is compiled -->
</xsp:structure>
<a-root-tag-of-your-choice>
<!-- the actual page, being executed every time -->
</a-root-tag-of-your-choice>
</xsp:page>
leaving out <xsp:structure> container should work, putting that section
at the
end might not... I never did that.
