Definitely. It looks as if you're running XML::SAX::Writer 0.41 which is broken (sorry). 0.42 has been sent to CPAN this afternoon and should work well (all tests for Pod::SAX pass here). It probably hasn't mirrored yet, but you should be able to grab it at least from funet.fi.
