The first public XIMS release will be done around the next week. 
(If we manage to keep our other job tasks as low as we do now.)
The Discussionforum-App Robin saw was not running via AxKit but as 
an XIMS object type (where the application logic is handled by 
CGI::XMLApplication currently).
We got an object type XSP but did not use it for complex stuff yet.
