I've never gotten this before:
Compilation failed: Global symbol "$parent" requires explicit package name
at (eval 200) line 1. syntax error at (eval 200) line 1, near "package
Apache::AxKit::Language::XSP::ROOT::usr::local::odie_www::htdocs::tools::mon
itorpanel::mapcontroluser_2exsp" BEGIN not safe after errors--compilation
aborted at (eval 200) line 2.
What kind if sick and twisted typo could give me an error at the package
declaration?
Especially since line 1 of the generated code is fine:
package
Apache::AxKit::Language::XSP::ROOT::usr::local::odie_www::htdocs::tools::mon
itorpanel::mapcontroluser_2exsp;
@Apache::AxKit::Language::XSP::ROOT::usr::local::odie_www::htdocs::tools::mo
nitorpanel::mapcontroluser_2exsp::ISA =
('Apache::AxKit::Language::XSP::Page');
Has anyone run into this issue before? I would seriously appreciate a
pointer for where to look in my code. It took me 45 minutes to write a
taglib, DBI model package, and the XSP page. I've spent the last 3 hours
trying to track down bizarre errors from the XSP page that don't point me to
anything useful at all! I feel a nervous breakdown coming on...
