OK, what I was looking for was in fact adding a namespace to the output, 
so that's a nice feature. Anyway, I've got my DBI access working with 
TaglibHelper now, and I'm pretty excited about finally get something 
working after the pain I had with Cocoon, so I pretty happy with that!

But if there is an easy way to quote every string in the output of a DBI 
query (if that is indeed what's needed), I would be even more happy if 
somebody told me about it.
