Yes you are right the log ends just there.
What is confusing me is that the problem does not appear on my local machine where
LibXSLT performs with no problem.
I'm using XML::LibXML 1.52 on both machines following the list of discussions over the
mailing list.
After some debugging I'm sure - LibXSLT denies to server even the simpliest xsl
stylesheet.

I assume that the log file just "ends" at that point?
It could be a bug in XML::LibXML 1.53, try downgrading to 1.52. I hope Phish
incorporates the patch I sent him for that in XML::LibXML 1.54.
