weird. Sorry, it's beyond me.

AxKit seems to work well enough without those two lines, so I'm not

That's surprising. I've never tried it but apparently those are
required directives. If those are uncommented, does the second
question start to work?
Nope, it still sends raw XML.
I have the named style sheet set up as:
<AxStyleName html>
AxAddProcessor text/xsl algorithm_html.xsl
</AxStyleName>
I've also tried using AxAddRootProcessor, which works so long as the
QueryString plugin is not included.
Nothing new seems to come up in my error log, either. There is a piece
that disappears:
[Tue Jan 28 17:00:03 2003] [notice] Accept mutex: sysvsem (Default:
sysvsem)
compilation error: file unknown-000137860776 element stylesheet
xsl:version: only 1.0 features are supported
compilation error: file unknown-000137860824 element stylesheet
xsl:version: only 1.0 features are supported
The lines starting "compilation error" and "xsl:version" disappear
with the three lines uncommented.
