PerForm's focus is really on forms that load and save to a database of some sort. You *could* use them loading from and saving to XML but it's not automatic and I don't think it ever will be.
- ability to create a form from an XML instance document (with roundtripping)
- ability to create a form purely based on a schema (of course this is what I was working on before ;-) I've been distracted but I still think it's possible)
- ability to verify form input on the server side using non-perl method, e.g., schema, WXS data types, schematron, purely extensible method (perhaps any XSLT for example)
- not templating
Except the last one - I don't know what that means :)
