I'm running into some trouble installing the OpenOffice.org provider for AxKit.

I downloaded it from the AxKit site, and followed the instructions in INSTALL. This is the output from perl Makefile.PL:

MiniTower:/tmp/Apache-AxKit-Provider-OpenOffice-1.02$ perl Makefile.PL
Checking if your kit is complete...
Looks good
Warning: prerequisite Apache::Request 1 not found.
Warning: prerequisite Archive::Zip 1.01 not found.
Warning: prerequisite AxKit 1.6 not found.
Writing Makefile for Apache::AxKit::Provider::OpenOffice

It sais "Looks good", so despite the warnings, I tried make test install.

I don't know why MakeMaker still builds a Makefile when pre-reqs failed, or why those are warnings or not errors.

Needless to say you need all those things (especially AxKit!).

Matt.
