Hello all,

I'm interested in creating an XSP taglib for interfacing with GD::Graph that would allow you to define any type of graph capable of being created in GD::Graph, but with an XML syntax. The secondary goal is to create a graphing library that will let you generate images without requiring a second HTTP request (e.g. preventing you from opening two database connections and running the same SQL statement twice, once for your HTML view and once for your graph).

My main reason for spamming all you AxKittens with this is to get feature requests. What would you like to see in the taglib, within reason? My main reason for building this is because Apache::GDGraph has reached the end of it's usefulness for me (Internet Explorer has a 1024-ish URL limitation, so really complicated graphs don't show up).

If I'm being too vague, sorry, but I don't really know how far I'm going to take this idea yet, so I'm just fishing for ideas / comments.

Cheers!
