G'day,
I've got a couple of AxKit boxes (1.4, 1.5) that I have installed from source.

What is the best way to upgrade them? I'm asking because I have memories of late night re-installs
(not upgrades) . Could I use CPAN? (the boxes are not *live*). If you can this is not an option for me.

I have read the install manual. I have installed Ax and it works. RTFM the install manual is not what I'm asking for. How do you *successfully upgrade AxKit* ?

Suggested process to build .....
(assumes prior install of various AxKit., Perl, Mod_Perl and Apache sources)

1. Download latest AxKit
*http://axkit.org/download

2. Unzip AxKit to /usr/src/
*check  AxKit-1.N/lib/AxKit.pm for dependencies
- -ie:  File::Basename, Compress::Zlib etc

3. download latest dependencies from CPAN
*do this recursivly for each package.

4. unzip download into /usr/src/

What happens next ????
