Actually, one doesn't. I first tried copying just XSP.pm, and it died:
Load of 'Apache::AxKit::Language::XSP' failed with: AxKit::load_module failed: Can't locate Apache/AxKit/LibXMLSupport.pm in @INC
So I decided to install the CVS version of AxKit and... well, see my latest messages: "bug unresolved in CVS version of XSP" and "%ENV hash shredded in AxKit >= 1.6.1".
