You said you're doing a Trans handler to change the URI - do it in there. Add either .xml or .html to the axkit_cache_extra in there.

Is there a doc somewhere on how AxKit's caching architecture works? I'd
like to learn a bit more about it. In specific, i noticed now that i do
the axkit_cache_extra bit in the Trans handler, the Dynamic Processor
gets called every time. Does that mean i've completely defeated caching?

No idea. You'll have to check your logs to see if it's delivering the cache or not.


As far as docs go, maybe Kip's upcoming book covers it in detail. I don't think there's much else documenting the cache architecture, mostly because it's subject to change in AxKit 2.0.
