Hi,

I've been running AxKit fine for over a year now. Yesterday I installed the
latest CVS to correct the cach_params error I mentioned earlier. Since then
AxKit has been segfaulting. I reinstalled the release 1.62 but this did not
correct the problem.

I can not start httpd myself because I do not have root access to my sever
and using the login I do have the httpd will not start (something I am
trying to solve with the help of the apache users list). This means I cannot
use the -X option or the gdb, as suggested in SUPPORT.

I've searched the mailing list for solutions to segfaults but non of the
answers seems to help.

I have disabled php (but it worked fine with this before) an
I don't think it's anything to do with EXPAT / apache or mod_perl because my
AxKit worked fine up until yesterday. And they have not changed since then.

I have:
    libapreq  1.0
    libxml2 2.5.10
    XML::LibXML 1.52
    XML::LibXML::Common 0.12
    XML::NamespaceSupport 1.08
    XML::XPath 1.11
    XML::Parser 2.29
    XML::Simple 1.08
    libxslt 1.0.32
    XML::LibXSLT 1.52
    AxKit 1.62

I'd be really gratefull for any sugestions as to how to stop AxKit
segfaulting.

Also I noticed two "Use of uninitialized value" errors when I run perl
Makefile.PL, the relevant output is shown bellow. Could this be anything to
do with it? Do I need to work about it?

Thanks

Adam
