I'm interested in how this works out for you.
I was unable to get an output transformer to work on cached pages because of what looks like a bug., [ see my earlier posts. ]
I was also attempting to use AxKit:URIs and a master XSLT document that would assemble components from the cache and ad the dynamic portions to it, alas i couldn't get [ alas I couldn't get Axkit URIs working, see my previous post. ] I did get it working using http URIs in the xslt. [ <xsl:apply-templates select="document('http://localhost/otherfile.xml')/*)'> ]
Finally I think you can also somehow use XInclude to do a similar assembly trick.
Anyhow I'm very interested in anyone's success or suggestions about any of these techniques.
