The first is an update of the Provider I wrote to take advantage of the Formatters, which is defined by a Formatter API. The second is the actual specification, which is now written down properly. When I released the previous release it wasn't really well defined. We hope that it is easy enough to write a Formatter for many to do it. The specification is still beta, and we solicit comments on the API, but we don't think it'll be very substantial changes. The third is a very minimal formatter, it just takes some plain text, finds the URLs in it and slaps HTML pre elements to return some HTML. It should be useful as an example Formatter too... :-) The last one I think has some great promise, as it makes use of the HTML::Tidy module to clean up HTML you may have gotten from people whose HTML skills you do not trust. Problem is, it doesn't work... :-( For that reason, it has been marked a developer release. Others who feel something like that would be mighty useful may want to check it out, though. The problems with it is described in the module's README.
