second question: I'm sure I'm (and Jörg too) going to be asked what's going on with AxKit at Apache2/mod_perl2 and there has nothing been going on this topic(no offend I could have done more myself to jump in this gap if I would have had time beside my daily job) as far as I know in the last time. So what should I tell people when asked?
The truth is always the best :-) Simply that a number of things have held us back - the lack of progress on moving mod_perl 2.0 out of alpha (which is now done I believe), and the lack of tuits on behalf of the developers.
The other issue of course being that an awful lot of people are just sticking with Apache 1.3 because it works damn well, is very well understood, and very stable. There are only a few features of Apache/mod_perl 2.0 that people really want AxKit to support (particularly filters).
