I've recently created the following three sites which I'd like to add to
the Live sites page, if possible:
http://www.stoop.net/: This is our family site. It uses AxKit for
everything (which isn't that much, to be honest :-) including the
dynamic menus and navigation bar (done with a custom provider module,
which will be available for download soon).
http://stoop.ini.unizh.ch/: That's our research group at ETH /
University Zurich. The group's research focus is theoretical
neuroinformatics. Recent achievements are a biomorphic, electronic model
of the human cochlea (the little thing in our ears which converts sound
into electrical pulses) and clustering algorithms for classifying new
chemical substances.
The site includes a taglib which fetches recent research publications
from a MySQL database and also features a publication search function.
A self-made caching module is used to cache the publication data as long
as the DB table doesn't change.
http://www.vitus.ch/: Vitus Ltd., a company based in Switzerland, is
primarily specialized in selected areas of business re-engineering and
interims management.
That site uses a taglib to browse through the DB-based news archive by
year or category. It also includes a function to fetch the latest x news
from a DB table (aka news ticker). The stuff is cached whenever possible
by a custom cache module.
The Wiki seems to password protected. Whom should I contact to get these
three sites listed?
