I posted this in #ayatana as well... "Hi, I just upgraded from 11.04 to 11.10 by using "update-manager -d" in the terminal. The update worked, but Unity is completely broken. I made a new user (so have no residual settings) and it still appears broken. I tried ubuntu2D as well and there is no difference. Where do I post a bug for this?"
