Hi, ayatana list! Perhaps the text above the text-box should be in the form of a question, similar to how Facebook, Identica and Twitter ask. "What's on your mind?" or something like that. Since Me-menu shows the text-box only after account details have been entered, we can assume that the users will be familiar with the concept.
