Hola Fabienne, You can check out a great book created by Miguel Huanca at the University of Chicago designed for people like you. It is called AYMAR ARUX AKHAMAWA. It's a great introduction to the La Paz variant of the language. I believe you can order it by contacting the Center of Latin American Studies at the University. It comes with an audio component, exercises, etc. I think it's the best introductory material around. Also, much of it is bilingual Eng/Esp.
